Historically at Cog Hill, we had used Kentucky bluegrass blends for our roughs on all four golf courses...until we were introduced to RTF.

Whether we plant it on bunker faces, high traffic areas, naturalized areas, or closely mowed intermediate rough it maintains great color, density, and health all season long. We began using RTF roughly 6 years ago on some of our south facing bunkers as the bluegrass wouldn’t perform to our liking.
We tried out a few and were greatly pleased by the vigor with which the RTF held through the season and the years after.
We have since utilized RTF on all bunker face and pond bank renovations. Our hope is to continue our interseed program with RTF in our high traffic areas and eventually all our rough due to its durability during summer stress and drought conditions we sometimes see.
